Mr. Bowring was born in Salt Lake City on July 2, 1866 and has lived in Brigham City for almost 50 years, active during that time in civic and church affairs. Since his retirement in January, 1939, from the bishopric of the Third ward after having served faithfully for 22 years, 12 and one-hal- f years as bishop, he has been driving to Logan five days a week to do temple work. Mrs. Scott Honors Twins Birthday Klub Of Corinne Meets Kitchen The Apple Dale club of Corinne, held Klub, their regular meeting Thursday at the home of La Raine Hansen. The meeting was called to order and conducted by Delores Craner. Carol Bundy, secretary, read the roll call. A luncheon was prepared for their he members by mothers. Nearly all members and their mothers attended the meeting. Mrs. Mrs. Ronald Packer, Charles Dredge and Mrs. Clair Knudson were in charge of favors and table decorations. A patriotic centerpiece centered the head table with small vases with cut flowers on the other tables. Small individual candy bouquets were at each place. Following the dinner a business meeting was conducted by Mrs. Hansen. Newly appointed officers were announced as follows, Mrs. Ronald Mrs. Packer, Railford Benson, secretary; Mrs. John Rossi, historian and reporter and Mrs. Reese Jensen, chairman of the membership committee.
