Brigham City is being favorably considered as a possible location for the new plant. The citv council has taken all action which the comjwny earlier indicated would improve Brigham Citys chances of being chosen as the location for the factory, Mayor Daron declared. He said that upon Pardoes arrival here, he would be prepared to call a special meeting of the city council for any further action which Iardoe might indicate would further enhance Brigham Citys chances. The company has indicated that it is eager to get started on the new factory building, and hopes the new branch will be in production this year, Baron said. He was unwilling to raise hopes that during Pardoes visit Brigham City would be definitely chosen, but indicated that this was a possibility. We do know Brigham City fits the companys requirements, and has offered everything the company has indicated it would expect agreement not to contest the plant sites removal from the city limits, adequate supply of water at cost, permission to contract to buy power from Utah Power and Light, the mayor declared.
