CLUB REPORTS were given: American Field Service, Beatrice Carroll reported, there was a very fine art show held at Davis High on November 20. She encouraged the citizens of the community to invite the AFS students into their home during the holiday season, and to become better acquainted with these outstanding students. She stated, This is a festive time of year and they would like to become acquainted with our tradit- ional Christmas. HISTORIC SITES: Carol Collett, chairman said the Levi Roberts cabin has not been moved yet but plans are being made to have this structure moved very soon. She said the committee is working on a selling campaign of the book, Kaysville, Our Town, for the Christmas season. This book would make a great gift. SENIOR citizens: Eugene Tolman, president, announced they are still holding their monthly meetings at the Davis High School Cafeteria, which included a delicious dinner. On December 16 they plan a special dinner, being their Christmas function and the club will pay for this dinner and they have special activities arranged. WINNING first place in the adult category was Coral Merrill, Sunset, with her black and yellow plaid coat. High school winners were: Shirley Garrett daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vem Garrett, Clearfield. She wore a tan and gold plaid jacket, tan pants, attractive hat and vest. Cosette Wiese, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wiese of Layton. She modeled a tan coat with lambs wool and collar and cuff trim.
