Show WEEKLY REFLEX-DAV- NEWS JOURNAL, SEPTEMBER 16 1976 IS f r,y prnp6 i The first in a statewide series of seminars will be held Sept. 21 in Ogden to infuse Chicanos with pride in their heritage and air their problems, concerns and contributions to the growth of Utah. DR. RICHARD Ulibarri, Dean of Continuing Education at Weber State College, will lead the discussions scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Weber Community Center Auditorium at 1100 Washington Blvd. Dr. Ulibarri holds a Ph D. from the University of Utah in U.S. Western and Latin American History directed and MR. JOHN Medina, the states Ombudsman for the Spanish speaking is coordinating the seminar on the local level. He will be a panel member for the seminar as will Mr. Pete Archuleta, Chief of Police for Clearfield. A documentary film tracing the Hispanic history of Utah and profiling the Spanish speaking community - the state's largest ethnic minority - will be featured.
