' , W. S. BRIMHALL Commissioner of Financial Institutions On behalf of the Senior Citizens of Davis County, we wish to thank you for your generous support of our senior citizen programs. MANY OF you have con- tributed individually to the building funds, buses and other capital improvements and many of you have given of yourselves in volunteer time to help operate programs for the benefit of older people. The Councils and Mayors of our cities and our County Commissioners have contributed generously to make a program possible and the Davis County Council on ag'-in-g has tried very hard to administer and manage the programs wisely to benefit those needing the social services and recreation the most. As we get older, we are often lonely and need the company of other human beings. AMERICA is celebrating its 200th birthday, and we are grateful to be here to join in the festivities. This year Davis County is planning a county wide bicentennial celebration during the Davis County Fair, August 19th thru the 21st. Saturday, August 21st is Senior Citizens Day and we invite all of you to join us at Lagoon to view the big parade at 10:00 a.m. We would like to encourage each community to submit an entry in the parade.
