They enjoyed visiting the Pueblo Indian Ruins, the Three Mesas, Petrified Forest and Painted Desert and other interesting places. Visitors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Waynard Bennett were their daughter Mrs. Vern Flint and family of Seattle, Washington. Mrs. Flint brought their daughter Miss Terrie Flint to enter the LDS mission home in Salt Lake City prior to serving an 18 month mission to Southern France. Terrie entered the mission home on July 16. Miss Lillie Meiners and three of her girlfriends have returned from an extended vacation trip to the Hawaiian Islands for two weeks. Mrs. Lillie Pincock of Sugar City, Idaho is visiting with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Godfrey. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Orton are spending a month vacationing in Europe. Members of the theatre group are participating in a week of promotional activities' for their upcoming production. Monday they organized a car parade through Layton and on Wednesday they dis- tributed flyers throughout Layton containing information about their first production. Saturday morning at 9 they will begin selling concessions at Fort Lane Shopping Center. The Layton Community Theatre, which is sponsored by the city recreation department, will present its first play, Stranger, August 20 through 28 at the Layton High school Little Theatre.
