Dennis Rosier, Davis High Auto Mechanics Instructor and two of his students, Duane Myrtle and Brian Barker who were the State winners in the Plymouth Trouble Shooting contest just returned from Chicago where they attended the National contest. They left June 28 and returned July 1. However they did not place in the National contest, but it was a tremendous experience for the boys. The National finalists brought championship teams from the 50 states. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Howard and children have returned to their home in San Francisco, California after visiting with her parents Mr. and Mrs. H. Glenn Austin for the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hovey and children have been vacationing for one week on a camping trip to Star Valley. Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Scoffield were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Simmons of Mesa, Ariz. They also visited with relatives in Bountiful and Kaysville area. Mr. and Mrs. Smith Evans returned from two week vacation trip to California. They attended the 25th National Square dance festival for three days at Anaheim. They visited Disneyland and the various beaches and visited with relatives in Torrence. They drove to San Diego and took tours in that area and then crossed over to Tijuana, Mexico and traveled the coastline. At Arrora, Calif, they visited with his County Clerk, Rodney W. Walker.
