The finally MANY MONTHS of en- joyment on Utahs streams and reservoirs lie ahead for the states fishermen. Part of of thrill fishing is the instinctive qualities of the fighting freshwater game fish found in Utah. Anglers often enjoy the victory and then release the fish to fight another day. Here are some tips on how the fish with to release minimum damage and the best assurance that it will provide the same kind of fishing action for some other lucky angler: HANDLE FISH with dry hands if it is removed from the water. Wet hands result in more damage by making the fish hard to handle. Dry hands allow a lighter grip with less chance for internal injury. A landing net will help restrain a large fish and prevent it from injuring on the itself by flopping ground or in the boat. the challenging Kaysville winners in the Davis County Junior Olympics include, 1 to r, front, Teri Thompson, Nancy Kirkpatrick, Kerry Corless, Tami Duke, second row, Mike Megill, Del JUNIOR OLYMPICS Esponsia, Kent Lyman, Mark Miller, David Smuin, Derrick Jensen, Jimmy Larkin; third row, Tiffney Martin, Kerry Jones, Julie Stenquist, Carma Smuin, Kathy Lyman. Is there any way to teach a man to be considerate? I tried giving and loving (for 10 years). It made my husband pompous. I tried indifference. He didn't notice it. Then I tried hammering home the facts with fury. This worked, but it is exhausting, and the results didnt last long. RECENTLY at a gala annual dinner dance, for which I always have a new dress, my with danced everyone else and had only one duty dance with me. Much of the time I found husband myself sitting alone or with a nondancing couple. My husband was the life of the party He cannot understand when I tell him how miserable I was. I cannot get him to ad- mit that he did anything wrong. In his way, I know he loves me, but he has outmoded ideas about men in their relationship to women. 1 WANT love and beauty and cherishing and companionship in the home-- as an example to the children. Instead, they see too often a stony-face- d mother and a father, perplexed, who says: Whats wrong, darling? and a mother who doesnt answer--fo- r how can you repeat over and over and still not get to first base? Its getting worse. Recently in a moment of anger I threw a footstool at him. course your husbands thoughtlessness is to be regretted. There is no excuse for such neglect. One A. OF might call it downright bad manners. A man should treat his wife with courtesy, if not with gallantry. At the least he should be thoughtful. However, the asperity of your words and your obvious impatience might indicate that you may be more dif- ficult than you realize. If you will cultivate a more spirit, plus the philosophical ability to take things as they come, it can make you happier, perhaps even more lovable. impe-turbab- IT IS an important thing to learn in all human relations, marriage included, to accept people as they are. Dont rail against your husband, or throw things at him. Try loving him for what he is. When he senses that you are inwardly relaxed, he may in time become more understanding. You will be less frustrated, and perhaps at the next dance you will not be left sitting on the sidelines. Q. I AM a girl only 12, but I have a question. When my father hollers at my brother for nothing and sends him to bed, I get so mad because the hollering isnt fair. My father usually is very kind, but I dont know what to do when he isnt. I just get burned up and I hate him. This is very important. It happens every month. THIS situation gives you a chance to help your father. It seems that about once a month your brother irritates your father, which, incidentally, isnt too bad an average. But instead of letting things reach the anger SB "ST M e 10x7 10x10 14x10 14x20 Elwin Roberts 1464 No. Fort Lane Layton, Utah 129.95 159.95 229.95 459.00 New for 8 Ft.
