Karen Abbott Hamblin were 16-2- A reception followed. THE BRIDE, who is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth N. Abbott, 851 West North, wore a long gown with a high neckline, long sleeves and a full flare skirt with a long train and a deep ruffle around the bottom. Her white, blue and pink bouquet was of roses, carnations and LaDawn Mamonn, and Gert Swenson, with junior brides- t maids, Janice Abbott and Nancy Abbott. Their gowns were of blue and white checked gingham with flocked roses and eyelet lace trim. They wore white picture hats with blue ribbons. 500 baby breath. Her full sheer veil was fingertip length. Mothers of the bride and bridegroom wore a formal length pink gown with a lace overlay. Their corsages were of gardenias. BEST MAN was Terry Hamblin and head usher was Ted Biehn. Other ushers were Brad Nielson, and Max Biehn. Jimmy Abbott served as ring bearer. Kathleen Abbott was at the book and guest Judy Hamblin and Sherrie Miller took charge of the gifts. THAT EVENING the couple were honored with a reception held at the Layton Stake Center 60 West Gordon Ave. Layton. The bride was lovely in a gown of nylon organza underscored with crepe. It featured a high rounded neckline trimmed with lace. An em- pire waistline, and lace also formed the rounded yoke in the front and back of the bodice. The waist was gathered to a full length skirt, this also was trimmed with wide lace, as was the slightly full train.
