Show Kaysville Garbage Schedule Outlined Garbage collection starts at 6 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Garbage must be out for collection by this time on your day. Once the truck passes, it will not return If your collection day falls on a major holiday, the garbage will be picked up the following day. GARBAGE SHOULD be in containers with handles and tight fitting lids, should not be tightly compacted in can or it will not dump out cleanly and the crew will not dig it our of the can, and garbage should not exceed 75 lbs. in weight per can. If plastic containers are used the city will not assume any responsibility for breakage. All papers must be tied in bundles or boxed. Shrub clippings and twigs must be cut and bundled, not exceeding 2' ft. in length. Tree limbs will not be hauled. Lawn grass and weeds must be placed in containers that can be easily dumped. SOD, DIRT, rocks, ashes, clinkers, manure, old auto parts or building materials will not be hauled. A truck will be parked at the city shop yards on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. into which residents can dump bulky household items, sod, and grass clippings.
