He will enter the state finals on Feb. 28 and 29 that will be held at the Salt Lake Equestrian Park in South Jordan and he will also go to Pocatello, Ida. the last two weeks in March to participate in the World Championship Cutter and Chariot Races held in Pocatello each year. OVER CYPRUS In the Dart Fieldhouse Friday evening the Davis Highs basketball team scored a victoiy over the 83-7- 4 Cyprus High crew, bouncing back into the lead after suffering its first league setback earlier in the week losing their game to Murray High. THE VICTORY upped the Darts mark in Region Five action to seven wins and one loss. The Dart victory over shadowed a spectacular display of long range shooting by the Cyprus Pirates Mark Sidwell, who planted 39 points and almost kept the Cyprus team in the game throughout the second single-handed- ly half.
