Earl Patterson scored three touchdowns and Frank Bentley one, with Mike Gardner converting on three out of four. Brent Maxfield A1 Runsvold, and Brad Cowley made long gains to help set up the scoring. The offensive line, with Ervin Stevens and Gary Steed at tackles, Robert Nilson and Sherman Hoskins at guards and Ted Terry at center, blocked very well throughout the ball game, clearing the way for consistent gains by all the backs. On defense, John Noriega at end, Dale Green at tackle, Gary Larkin at guard and John Simmons at halfback filled in to hold the Warriors to a minus five yards rushing yardage. The game was a real team effort on the part of the Darts. This week Davis travels to Bountiful for a tough game with their county cousins. Bountiful boasts a four won, one loss record with victories over East, Tooele, Granite and Bonneville. Their only loss was at the hands of the Highland Rams, last years State Champions. The game has been moved to Saturday at 1'3( p.m. and will be Bountifuls Homecoming game.
