In this lesson we worked on headings My instructor would give me a heading and I would try to turn the plane on the correct heading, all the time watching the instruments inside and the area on the outside of the plane and trying to do decent turns. In addition to headings I was instructed in making climbing turns, more glides, and more turns. Then we flew out over the salt flats and not very far above them. The purpose of this maneuver was to show me how even a slight pressure at the wrong tune will throw a plane off course. I bad to fly along, close to the ground, with a very small amount of power. Instruments did no good at this altitude and I had to rely on my own senses to keep the plane on course, straight and level, and to try not to attempt a landing on the salt flats, which almost happened once. It really showed me that coordination and anticipation are essential in flying We did the same maneuver at a greater speed. I found it easier to fly straight while going faster We headed for the airport I made a horrible approach to the field but we landed in one piece, concluding my second flying lesson I guess eventually Ill become a fairly decent pilot, but I have quite a way to go to master the principles of flight 66 full 72 by 90 inches Stork Club 111 Kennah, BIG CHOICE OF COZY BLANKETS Penney Plus Value $5 each $5 twin, full big 72 by 90 inches Easy to find the style you prefer and save Chenilles, rayon viscose.
