Kaysville nurse Nannette Kaysville Ritchie was given a special award for the highest scholastic achievement of any of the graduating class of St. Benedicts Hospital School of Nursing held last week. Miss Ritchie is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray S. Odd, Kaysville. A graduate of Davis High, she went directly into nurses training and schooling. Immediate plans for the new graduate call for an extension of a career in nursing after her marriage this early fall. Miss Study funds Four students from Layton, Kaysville and Farmington who have attended college for a year or more have been awarded scholarships for 1959-0- 0 at the University of Utah. Janice Adams, a sophomore, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen A. Adams of Lay-towill receive a $150 scholarship. She was a high student of Weber College and will be a sophomore majoring in education at the U. Louis A.
