Virginia has been a guest of her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Rushforth Jaye Gardner i'uneral held t Afton, she served as secretary in the Napa Ward MIA of Santa Rosa Stake. Then she also remet and double dated with Reed Hemmert Gardner whom she married August 16, 1955, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After their marriage they attended the University of Wyomng, where Reed received his M.S. degree and Gaye completed two years of training. They are parents of one Geraldine, born daughter, at Afton. 1958, 6, February Her death occurred at the Star Valley LDS hospital where she underwent surgery and passed away during complications on July 28. Surviving are her husband and daughter, 'Reed and Ger aldine; her mother, Mrs. Wanda Call; brothers, Elder Ger aid Call who is serving an LDS Mission in West Germany and Curt H. Call; also her grandparents, Mr, and Mrs,Thomas J. Call and President Clarence Gardner. Wyo. Gibbs Smith had as their guests, Mr. and Mrs. John Major Scowcroft, formerly of Ogden, who are new residents of Kaysville. Tuesday and Wednesday house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Rushforth and family were Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Weitzel and two children Fontana, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brooksby, Calif. Miss Ann Paddlock, Provo, was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Don Edwards and family for 10 days. Mrs. Effie B. Miller was a guest Thursday of Miss Lois Justsen in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Rushforth, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Hall attended the Dixie reunion (of Southern Utah) at Fairmont Park in Salt Lake Saturday evening.
