Show Dennis Draayer called to Serve on LDS Mission Elder Dennis B. Ginton Draayer son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth J. Draayer will be honored at a farewell testimonial at the Ginton Ward Cha-p'Sunday evening: at 7 p.m. Elder Draayer has accepted a call to the New England States LDS Mission with headquarters at Cambridge, Mass. He will enter the Mission Home August 17 and depart for his field of labor one week later. Elder Draayer is an active member in the Clinton Ward, where he has served as assistant scoutmaster, and secretary of the elder quorum. He has also participated in numerous athletic and dramas in the M.IA. He is a graduate of Davis High and Weber College, where he participated in athletics, and graduated from the Institue of Religion while there. Dr. Biernap cared for the Robinss son, Charles W, who now lives in Roy, when he was shot down while flying in a 7 over Germany as a turret gunner with the Army Air Force on July 7, 1944. German soldiers took the unconscious man from the tree in which he landed to a German army hospital where Dr. Biernap set a broken leg, put it in traction and treated Charles for a fractured skull.
