Golden Are. The family presented Mr. Stephenson with a leather reclining chair. Mr. Stephenson was born July 29, 1879, in Richfield, Utah, and moved to Cache Valley when he was six years old. Three years later the family settled at St Joseph, Idaho, which is now Y- Mapieton, Idaho. Young Daniel was called on a mission for the LDS Church on December 28, 1903, and labored without purse or script in the state of Arkansas. While on his mission he served as superintendent of the Sunday School for six months and then was appointed president of the Arkansas Conference. He returned home in August of 1905 and on May 80, married Annie 1906, he Agnes Jensen of Lago, Idaho, who had waited for him while he served his mission. They were married in the Logan Temple. Mr, Stephenson has been a farmer and stockman most of his life. When they came to Clearfield in 1944, Mr. Stephenson worked for the Navy Base and Mrs. SteCOUNTRY STYLE phenson worked at Hill Field.
