Whitesides School. Classrooms sparkle with gay Christmas Art. Teachers and students have integrated Christmas into their daily work. The most familiar sign of Christmas, however, is the beautiful sound of childrens voices as the class practices Christmas Carols. Teachers agree that a lot of music is taught around Christmas time. It is done spontaneously due to the enthusiasm and happy anticipation that children have around this time of year. In the hall, the children like to hesitate and watch the beautiful tree. At times, the children listen to recorded Christmas they eat their lunch. On Wednesday morning the Pri- mary grades entertained their patents with Christmas music. On Thursday morning, parents of the 4th, ,'th and th grades were entertained by their children. Several special numbers were played on the tonettes along with many other musical numbers. The highlight on Friday, of course, will be the visit by Santn Claus. If enthusiasm and smiling faces, tells a story, then it can be said that the E. M.
