Temple plays the piano so beautifully and willingly; its not because Charlie, her husband, is so much fun to be around it is, indeed, something more intangible that makes the Dredges so popular with everyone who knows them. Beth is a genuinely friendly person who always greets friends and acquuintenances alike with happy smile and cheerful conversion. No one ever has anything unkind to say or feel about Beth because she never says or feels unkindly towards anyone. In her community, Kaysville, she is continuously being called upon to participate in various civic activities. She always obliges with genuine happiness to serve. Never a friend in trouble or sickness but that Beth rushes in with high good humour to cheer, often with an offering of delicious food. The charming Dredge home is frequently a gathering place for their many friends. During the daytime, youngest child, Douglas, is constantly besieged with neighborhood children wanting to play and Carolyn, !, and Paul, 12, are both outgoing children who, like their parents, have a way of getting along with people. Beth said she doesnt teach lessons always thinks she wi gin a class, and then she becomes g too involved in her many but much fun community, club and church jobs. Both Paul and Carolyn are taking piano lessons, from their Mothers however cousin in Ogden. "They would never practice if they took from me and it just wouldn't woik as well,' Beth says and that is probably true. Theyj seem to have inherited their Mother's talent, though, and will some day play as well as she. Born and raised in Brigham City, Beth has fond memories of wonderful food prepared by the best cooks in that community especially some of Danish descent. She remembers being served Aibelskivers by an old Danish She lady, friend of her family. said the translation is apple pancake ball and ailielskivers is pro- - Mrs. La Veil Sacket seived the new bride as matron of honor and other attendants weie Mrs. Karl King and Mrs. Rulon Jones.
