The annual general deer season on Fish and Game gets underway October 22 and continues for eleven days of hunting either sex animals over most of the state. November 11 is scheduled for the opening day of annual pheasant hunt, with length of season, bag, and other regulations yet to be set by Commission action. The following brief calendar of hunting events was listed for Sportsmen today by the Utah partment of Fish and Game. Three early elk hunts, the De- l, and rocks, are set for September 4 thru October 4.
