Many Boy Scouts from Clearfield participated in the recent Litter Bug campaign to clean up the Weber Canyon and Ogden canyon areas. The boys report that they gave up counting the cans they picked up. The LDS church census is nearly completed in this area. It has been done by volunteers, part of a plan where by the church takes a census every five years. Senior Aaronic Priesthood members and their partners were honored at a program last Monday evening at the North Davis stake. The North Davis stake Primary preparation meeting will be held at Sunset ward on May 26 instead of at the stake house due to the North Davis Junior High School graduation taking place there. Dr. and Mrs. Harvey Broadbent welcomed a new son last week. This makes four boys for the Broadbents and one lone sister. Altho Mary Lou would have liked a sister very much they are all giving the tiny fellow a' real welcome. Several children from Clearfield Will be dancing revues this and next week. They are the students of Mrs. Keller and of the Hannah School of dancing. Mrs. Blanche Hansen a newcomer to Clearfield a couple of months ago visited the Alpha Lambda chapter of Beta Sigma Phi at their meeting this week in Lay-to- n at the home Of Mrs. Relda Bringhurst. Congratulations to president and Mrs. George Shaslam on their wedding anniversary Sunday. Group I classes in First ward Primary honored their mothers last week along with several other classes. However this group made a recod in having 30 children there and twenty nine mothers. The teachers are Mrs. Ruth Bodily and Mrs. Wanetta Weyment.
