U. fraternity will hold its seventh anniversary celebration on May 30. This is a fraternal order for Spanish speaking peoples in the Ogden area. It is the second chanter of the nrrW organized in Utah since 1946. The other is in Salt Lake. The celebration will begin with a mass at the Santa Maria Chapel in Ogden at 8:30 a. m. At 2:00 p. m. festivities will include a grand march, group singing, speeches and free pf charge and the public is invited. It will be held at the Utah power and Light building in Ogden on Washington Blvd. At 9:00 p. m. a dance has been arranged at the W. 0. W. hall on Grant avenue in Ogden. Layton, celebrated her 85th birthday anniversary at her home Friday with her friends and family calling on her throughout the dy. ' She was born in Eden, Utah, May 22, 1868, the daughter of William and Sarah Talbot Bodily. On Nov. 22, 1K88 she married Orson R. Lay-to- n in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Layton died Nov. 13, 1929. Mrs. Layton has resided all her married life in the same house. A very active member of the Layton Second LDS ward, she has worked with the Relief society.
