Adams Cowley arrived here Monday to spend the holidays with his mother Mrs. W. W. Cowley in Layton and his wife Mrs. Marjorie Cowley and Kay in Sunset. A d daughter was born Sunday at a Salt Lake hospital to s Mr & Mrs David Barlow. The have another child, Davey, age three. Grandparents are Mr St Mrs Henry Call and Mr & Mrs . Jesse Barlow of Clearfield. Miss Gloria Beth Keller left Saturday for Los Angeles where she will be married to Dick Phillips, formerly of Kaysville. Miss Keller is a granddaughter of Mrs. Alice Scoffield. Mrs. Arlene Zesigcr, who has spent three months in Chicago, arrived home Sunday evening to spend Christmas with her parents Mr & Mrs Jesse Stevenson. Mr St Mrs Irvin Call and family left Sunday to spend Christmas with their daughter and Mr & Mrs Howard Dunn in Alameda, Cal. Mrs. Marvin Neville and son Keith left Thursday to spend the holidays with her parents in Hawley, Minn. MissMaurine Egbert, who accompanied her mother to California, is employed at Payless Drug in Sacramento, Cal. Mr St Mrs Frank Day and two sons Scott and Craig were Sunday dinner guests of Mr St Mrs Myron Bodily in Clearfield. Mr St Mrs Golden Adams were dinner guests of Mr & Mrs Glen Wasden in Provo Sunday. The dinner honored John S. Evans, brother of Mrs. Adams, on his birthday. Mrs. Dave Clawson, who has been ill, is slowly improving. Mr St Mrs Ed Wynn and son Jimmy of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Frank Day and sort Craig and Mrs. Myron Bodily and two daughters Barbara Jean and Carol Ann of Clearfield spent Friday in Morgan with their grandmother Mrs. James Peterson. Mr St Mrs Roy Hogan and daughter Sherlene of Hatch, Idaho, and Mr St Mrs Bill Hatch of Salt Lake City were Sunday dinner guests of Mr Mrs Milton Call. Bishop LeGrande Richards and Mr. Fox of the presiding bishopa office in Salt Lakke were guest speakers at the leadership meeting held in Layton Sunday afternoon. Mr. Richards talked to the girls leadership group. A large number of Layton people attended the funeral for Miss Nellie Edmonds in Kaysville. Miss Edmonds was the sister of Mrs. Lawrence Bone and Mrs. Ahna A Nalder. Mr Si Mrs Melvin Brock and children Nancy and Melvin were Friday evening dinner guests of Mr & Mrs. Vern West.
