Mrs. Sterling Morton entertained at her home Sunday in honor of her mother, Mrs. Gabriel Smith, on her 75 th birthday anniversary. All of .Mrs. Smiths children and grandchildren were present. Luncheon guests. was served to forty-tw- o Mrs. Robert Ward left Saturday evening to attend the funeral services of her father, Charies Iladdon, which werc held at Rigby, Idaho, Monday. While there she visited relatives at St, Anthony and returned home Tuesday evening. . Miss Breta Linford entertained the members of the Towne Bridge club at her home Thursday evening. Saturday evening the members of the club and their partners will be guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wray Hyde and Mr. and Mrs. Galbraith at the home of Mrs. Agnes Odd. The American Legion Auxiliary will hold its next meeting at the home of Mrs. E. L. Tall on Monday, March 20, at 3 p. m. All members of this unit are urged to attend this meeting as Mrs. Grace Jones, department president, will be present at this meeting. Arnold M. Barnes has been confined to his home the past week, suffering with an attack of influenza. The Kaysville Garden club will meet Monday evening at 7:30 in the Kaysville city council chambers. Arrangements have been made for a gucyst speaker, and a very interesting program is being prepared. The Davis County Council of will meet this at the Davis evening (Thursday) High School auditorium at 7:30. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bennett entertained at a card party at their home Saturday evening. Luncheon was served to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hill. The Towne Bridge club will meet with Mrs. Kirk Koldewyn next Thursday evening. Mrs. Rex Turner and son, Larry, are staying at the home of Mrs. BenTurners mother, Mrs. J.-nett. Larry is suffering with bronchitis. The drama, White Collars was presented by the Kaysville M. 1. A. at the Davis high school auditorium Tuesday evening.
