He reports that building permits Issued this year are in excess of last years record at this time, and expects at least 75, perhaps 100 homes erected In this community before the end of 1939. James G. Stratton, president of the Orem Chamber of Commerce, placed the estimate readily at 100 new homes, and declared his intention of building two new homes himself this year. Others present reported that building lots Hre already becoming scarce in certain areas, but the field Is big, vide, and long, and the four and one half miles frf sidewalk now almost completed makes for unlimited growth and a most - berries.
