In 1948, he was appointed mine inspector of the Columbia Coal Mine, and in 1955, was made general foreman of that mine, a position he held until his present appointment. He is a navy veteran of World War II. He and his wife, Lillian', and their five children live at 333 Berkley Ave. nue, Dragerton. Mr. Pressett Js also. a native of Sunnyside, Utah. He received a mining engineering, degree from the Colorado School of Mines and started with U. S. Steel in .1935 as engineer, Columbia Mine.
