Show 1 Tuesday, Angust 21, 1956 Dixie !. mSDSAGERTON TRIBUNE lee Danford Page Eleven , Forost Fire Caution Honored On Dirthday Urged by Forester One of the loveliest socials of the late summer for the younger set was the birthday party held at the Lauriski home in honor of Dixie Lee Danford, who was celebrating her twelfth birthday evening, August 18. The back lovely yard of the Lauriski home was lighted with a large fire in the fireplace. Music for dancing was by record hifi. Refreshments consisted of hot dogs, pop and all the trimmings. A large decorated birthday cake lighted with candles formed the center piece. Color scheme was pink and white. Dixis Lee received many beautiful gifts. Just as the party was in full swing Mrs. Wallace Waite, Sonya, Wally Waite and Kay Zollinger of Logan came to join the happy group. Thoses present were : Ronnie Ross, Mickey Arambula, Robert Murphy, Don Butler, Jimmie John Douglas, Jimmie Harvey, Billy Bowen, Penny Johnson, Myrtle Morriss, Barbara Sunter, Mary Ellen Bliss, Marie Ward, Brenda Stoddard, Carol McFadden, Lynn Turnbull, Connie Huff, Jean Huff and Karen Worthen. n guests were: Wally Waite, Sonja Waite, Kaylene Zol- - fire danger at a new high, a forest industry representative today urged all Utah citizens to cooperate in keeping Utah green. Ernest L. Kolbe, chief forester of Western Pine Assn., called on sportsmen and others who use the forests for recreation to help keep down the current fire menace. Last year, fires burned over 2,045 acres of forest land in Utah, said Kolbe. This waste of forest resources and threat to watershed lands can be avoided only if each and everyone participates in an all-oeffort to use commonsense precautions in wooded areas.
