In the evenVof death of an insured pfekerTmon-thlbenefits $re paid Jfrst to the widow and children Tinder 18 years of age. If no widow nor minor child survives, the monthly benefits are paid to dependene parents over age 65. If the deceased left no widow, minor children nor dependene parents over 65, a lump sum is paid to the party that pays the burial expenses. Mr. Peterson explains that the only sure way of knowing whether or not the deceased was insured under Social Security is for the survivors to check with the Social Security office. This should be done in ail cases where the deceased had a Social Security card. 7:00 p.m. Old-AClub officers for this year are Hazel D.
