Show H Invest Your Money Wisely t In The RICH COUNTY NEWS PTA Sponsors Teachers Appreciation Week by Ruth Smith DEC. 5-1- Last week teachers and other school personnel enjoyed a week filled with special gifts and surprises. The week of activities was planned by the PTA in an effort to say thank you for helping our children. 1983 1, the assembly room mothers gave a presentation about each teacher. The students enjoyed hearing about some of the experiences the teachers had while growing up. They were amazed to find out that Principal Bingham had been sent to the principals office when he was a boy. He even knows what its like to write a few dictionary pages. A lunch was served Friday evening for all school personnel. Betty Weston, PTA Commissioner over services, thanked all adults and children who helped with the teacher appreciation activities this week. Principal Bingham thanked the PTA for all the help they give the teachers and school. Everyone's humming, Christmas is coming. Don't forget.to feed the birds . . . Room mothers decorated the schools doors and halls in fun, imaginative ways. During the week the students wrote letters and gave small tokens of appreciation to their teachers. They, your children, have years and years to be serious and and have no wonderful, magical things in their lives. Let there be a Santa now, while they are small. Let them love the wonder of it all. Let them learn the love of giving.
