The Burtons have 11 grandchildren & 2 great 2 to 3 3 cups caraway shortening Tablespoons water peeled thinly sliced onions 3 Tablespoons melted butter or margarine Vi cup milk lVi cup dairy sour cream 1 teaspoon salt n 2 eggs, 3 Tablespoons flour Bacon slices, cooked crisp. Make the pastry by combining 1 Vi cup flour with salt and caraway seeds. Add shortening, cutting into flour until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Stir in water lightly with a fork until mixture follows the fork around the bowl in a lump. Turn onto floured board. Roll to Vi inch thickness and place in 10 inch pie tin. Bake in hot (425) oven 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Meanwhile, make filling. Saute onions on butter until browned. Add milk to 1V4 cup of sour cream, and salt. Blend remaining flour with Vi cup of sour cream and add to egg mixture. Pour over onions in the pie shell. Bake in slow (325) oven until firm in center. Serves eight. well-beate- St. George Lady Lions enjoy Valentine observance The St. George Lady Lions met at tlie Cameo Room on February 10th and enjoyed a chicken dinner with lovely decorations and centerpieces carrying out the Valentine theme. Hilma Holt was Chairman of the meeting. The ladies were entertained by Roene DeFiore and the Dixie College Program Bureau, which was very entertaining. President Bobi Fenton took charge . of the meeting and several items of business were discussed. Swiss Camp holds meeting Utah Camp meeting was held at the of Daughters Swiss Pioneers residence of Gussie Wittwer with Vella Ruth Hafen and Laura Gubler as Capt.
