Show Its A Miracle may be just that. Originally written at the request of a stake president, the production enjoyed what one Deseret News writer termed a snowballing grassroots popularity which has taken its composer and author by surprise. Indeed, within a few months, Janice Kapp Perry and Michael, Missy, and Steve have fun performing the Critter Caper with Mom and Dad during Family Home Evening. Joy Saunders Lundberg premiered their expanded idea at BYU Campus Education Week with one a r result: they had a with production on their hands people lining up to see it. two-hou- multi-medi- Its A Miracle is the story of Elder Michael Drake. As he packs to return home at the conclusion of his mission, he is joined by his delightful, g Guardian Angel. Through the exciting use of various methods, the audience is transported back as they review his life from his childhood preparation, to his agonizing decision to either go on a mission or stay home with his girl and a new car. fun-lovin- Elder Simmons laughs uproariously at one of his own jokes while Elder Drake struggles to endure. They also see some of his missionary trials in the Elder form of one hilariously Simmons, and his rewards: teaching the gospel to the Harrison family, a true experience adapted for the play. Audiences are delighted with the surprise ending. The story is lively and the music entertaining with an important message for all. The production has a unique quality about it that allows the audience a perceptive look at themselves. The situations are created to touch lives. Brother and Sister Drake share a playful moment alone after son Michael leaves on a date. Michael's neighbor Susan encourages him with his decision to go on a mission. And in doing so, that is miracle enough.
