Show Fawsons Return From Tour (MHTFSmiE mi m Lyman and Nina m fit Grantsville West Stake Conference Held The Grantsville West Stake completed a very successful conference Sept. 11 and 12. President Don H. Johnson was pleased with all sessions of the conference. The general authority assigned to preside over all sessions was Jack H. Coas-lan- d Jr., a member of the Seventies Quorum. The preisthood leadership session held on Saturday at 4 p.m. dealt with the issues of responsibility and stewardship. Elder Coasland stressed the areas of study, prayer, tithing, genealogy, missionary work, reverence, working with inactive friends, family home evenings and keeping morally clean. AH adults attended the 7 p.m. session and heard talks on financial well being. President Clyde C. Jefferies discussed financial and resource management. He used the pamphlet Consis-tanc- y and Change given by President N. Eldon Tanner, as a text for his talk. Bishop Harold K. Oliver of the Fourth Ward talked on successful financial man- agement. A film was shown on paying fast offerings. Elder Goasland talked on lieing financially sound. The general session was held Sunday, Sept. 12. It was conducted by President Johnson who was the first speaker. He told of the progress being made throughout the stake and commended the leaders on their services. Legacy Week One of the highlights of Grantsville West and Grantsville Stakes Womens choir Legacy Week, will be an singing a beautiful melody Legacy For Women. The song is an original penned by Carol Jefferies especially for this observance of . the ties that bind one generation to A, another. The song will introduce a drama which tells the story of noted Grantsville pioneer Thomas Henry Clark and his wife, Charlotte. The dramatization, slated for Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. in the Grantsville West Stake Center, comes midway in the weeks activities. Thursday features a driving tour and will take participants to several homes in Grantsville, plus the museum and historic First Ward Church, and will finish up in Erda and Lakepoint. Saturdays activities include displays of arts and crafts by women of the area, beginning at 1 p.m.; mini demonstrations from 1 to 2:30 and 3:30 to 5 p.m. and a x7 V. X X X I. fashion show at 2:30 p.m. The weeks events will be topped off Sunday with a fireside at which the featured speaker will be Lillian Alldredge, the daughter of LDS Relief Society Presiv dent Barbara Smith.
