To prove my point, I present a little quiz on roles filled by each sex with full confidence that anyone can come up with the correct gender for each role without a moments hesitation. Who can run faster, jump higher, throw farther than whom, but lacks the skill to replace a roll I of toilet paper or the strength to unwrap a bar of soap or the ellow power to toss a candy wrapper in the waste basket? . . . On the other hand, who cant change a tire or get a gas cap off but can tighten the lid on a jar of fruit so it can never be loosened? . . Who coasLstently forgets birthdays and anniversaries, but never forgets the date who backed the car through the fence, or the exact date of whose first grey hair? . . . Who keeps pinching the roll of flab around whose middle just to remind whom that its there, but whose first words after dinner are Whats for dessert? and who is the first to suggest a stop at the ice cream parlor for a treat? . . . Who gains five pounds from eating the dessert and treats, and who never gains an ounce?. . . Who scoffs at the idea of saving grocery bags or rags for cleaning cloths? But who is always asking whom for a cloth for wiping greasy hands or car parts, or who always needs a paper bag for something or other? . . . Who is always driving the car when it breaks down in the middle - J of an intersection? And who laughs upon learning that the car driven by whom broke down in the middle of an intersection? . . . UAo always requires assistance to find socks in the sock drawer, shirts on the shirt hangars, and cuff links in the cuff link !ox w hen a couple is getting ready for a night on the town? . . . Once the fore- going items are located and donned, who impatiently remarks, Wiry cant you ever get ready on time? . . . When the family goes camping, who gets to do the packing and unpacking? . . . Who does all the fishing? . . . Who Is the expert on fish cooking? . . . Who actually cooks the fish? . . . Whose favorite remark Is, Kids nowadays dont know how to have fun at a dance? . . . Who refuses to leave the TV and go to a dance? . . . This is the concluding recital of the 1981 82 recital series held at Grantsville High School. Miss Jefferies has many musical honors to her credit. She has played first chair clarinet in the Westminster College Symphony Orchestra. She has led the clarinet section in the orchestra of the Grantsville Memorial Opera Productions.
