Show Seminarian Ordained Area Obituaries Funeral Held For Sarah C. Jensen The ordaining prelate was the Most Reverend Ricardo Ramirez, C.S.B., Auxiliary Bishop of San Antonio. The main concelchrants were Fathers Sdvio D'Ostilio, C.S.Sp. (Provincial) and Thomas Byrne, C.S.Sp. (Director of Theologians). Also concelebrating the ordination mass were 80 Holy Ghost Fathers. A reception honoring the new deacon was held following the impressive the the family prayer. Wayne IVvereaux played the organ and the invocation was offered by Clifford L. Carson. Ceorge A. McKellar and Bishop Sherman A. UikDioIiii delivered speeches, Dctoruh Jac kson and Jcannine Hansen gave two musical imniliers at the services. The first was a violin duet and the second was a hymn, Dear To The Heart of the Shejtherd." Sarah Jo C. Nielsen was the accompanist forlmth imniliers. The liencdiction was given hy Vernon A. I lansen and the dedicat ion of the grave was offered liy Bernard C. Farr. Mrs. Jensen was buried in Weston, Idaho. Pall I rearers for the funeral were: Nick V. Hansen. C. Arthur Carson, Jeff B. After a short vacation at home, Mr. Epperley will leave in July for Brazil to study and work in the foreign missions of the Catholic Church. Upon his return, he will lie ordained a Catholic priest. Today, there are over 4,000 1 loly Ghost Fathers and Rmthers in over sixty countries of the world's five continents. The Congregal ion of the Holy Ghost and the Immaculate Heart of Mary was founded almost three hundred years ago and its memliers are motivated hy a desire to Coxcutlan, S.L.P., Mexico. He then returned to the Oblate School of Iheology where he earned a Masters Degree in' Divinity. On May 16, the Reverend Mr. Epperley assisted as a deacon with the Reverend Mousignor Francis Kcllcherat the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt City, Utah. At this time, Mr. Epperley officiated at the Iraptism of Miss Jennifer Jean Celino, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cclino of Salt City and the first Martha Richey Card of Thanks Martha Braithwaite Richey, 91, died May 18, 1982 in Tucson, Arizona. She was Irom Dec. 4, 1890 to William and Elizalrcth Francis Braithwaite. Married William Richey Jan. June 1912 in Manti, Utah. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in 1959. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ralph L. (Beverly) Shelton and two grand- We wish to express our appreciation to all the friends; neighliors and everyone for their kindness, sympathy and help during the passing of our mother, Mildred C. Jensen. PINEAPPLE FLUFF BARS (Makes 9 servings) 4 cup butter, divided 1 4 cups crushed vanilla wafers, divided 1 (20 oz.) can cncshed pineapple 1 (3 oz.) package lemon-flavore- d gelatin 44 cup sugar, divided 4eggi, separated A cup chopped walnuts In square glass dish melt VA cup butter 30 seconds on full power. Add one cup crushed wafers and lightly toss. Press firmly on bottom of dishd; set aside. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. In medium glass bowl heat juice, uncovered, 2 44 minutes on full power or until toiling. Add gelatin and stir to dissolve. Cool to room temperature. In large mixing bowl cream 44 cup butter and 44 cup sugar. Add yolks and beat well. Stir in gelatin, pineapple and walnuts. In separate bowl beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add remaining 44 cup sugar and beat until stiff; fold into gelatin. Pour mixture over crust and top with remaining crumbs. Chill several hours or overnight. Cut into squares to serve. Now. Seven grandchildren also survive as do three sisters: Mrs. Maxine VanDyke, Fontana, Calif.; Mrs. Ab (Lurleen) Woodward, West Valley City; and Mrs. Maliel Warr, Tooele. Funeral services will lie held Monday, May 24 at 1 p.m. at the Downey Ward Chapel. Viewing will lie one hour prior to service. Interment in Downey City Cemetery. 1 p.m. at the Tate Mortuary. They moved to Downey, Idaho and have farmed in Downey since that time. Their marriage was solemnized in the Izrgan LDS Temple April 11, 1949.
