The latter is part of an exercise currently being conducted at the depot. CROWTH IN YVENDOVER: It is estimated that the popualtion in YVendover will double in five years. Although water availability is of concern, officials are more upset about the lack of housing. This might be a possible clue for Tooele cont ractors. PONY BASEBALL: Dorothy Leonelli dropped by the Chamber office last week to talk baseball. The Ponyl League needs sponsors. Local residents and business lead-- 1 ers wishing to participate in a worthwhile youth program might give Dorothy a call at Dorothys visit to the office brings up another point.! There seems to be several drives on right now. The Chamber receives calls as to whether some of these drives are legitimate. It might be well for those organizations 882-427- 6. 8S. The exact date hasnt been set bu the concept looks exciting for those who need help in deciding future careers. REPRESENTATIVE SMITH: Jack Smith keeps in close touch with the Chamber of Commerce on problems effecting Tooele County. His concern is greatly appreciated. Right now he is attempting to arrange a meeting between the Oquirrh Overlook Committee and top brass of the Utah National Guard. Purpose., .to seek Guard assistance in widening the hair pin turns near the Overlook. COMMUNITY CALENDAR: This will be the first attempt to establish a Chamber of Commerce Community Calendar. The basic idea is to avoid conflict with the Chamber acting as a clearing house. y.
