He was not quite expecting the excitement as children, grandchildren, and family members, came from every comer of the house, behind chairs and furniture, all singing Happy Birthday as he walked in the door at the home of his daughter and Pat and Marlene Cook. The family had a gay time during the rest of the evening. Pat and Marlene and family, Darrell Palmer and his wife Judy and family, daughter Carol and brother-in-laClaude Jefferies, made up the sixteen guests that were in attendance. Small worries are like gnats; movement and activity disperse them. J. Gustav White, l)s son-in-la- w Miss Marilyn Halladay, has been in Europe for the past month with the NHCA Beauty Tour as a hair stylist model. She models for Mrs. Gladys Smith of Provo, who is one of the seven members of the Olympic Hairstyling Team from the United States to enter world competition in Vienna. Miss Halladay had previously modeled for Mrs. Smith in Florida, where the artists hair styling won her a place in the world competition contest. Marilyn is actually a bnmette, but, according to the hairdressers, the blonde hair is much better dark for competition, as it shows up the hair styles more effectively. She will be home about October 5th. Take notice, ladies, this is the latest hair style.
