Elder Wavne Lemmon from Grants-vlll- e and Mrs. Rose Castagno of Trda The meeting was in connection with the mission program Elder Lemmon and Mrs. Castagno are currently in Fng-lan- d on missions for the LDS Church. On the plane going over they met President Alva Green, of the North British Mission. He was very interested In talking to people from Granlsville as he has in his mission several boys from here. They are: Elder Donald Fawson. Elder Darrell Anderson. Elder Dennis Painter, and Elder Dennis Orgill. They had the opportunity of seeing the British Royal family and also the Queen of Greece and taking motion pictures of them They visited the Tower of Turrand London and Madame House of wax statues, where fathey have images of many mous people. also ANDERSON NANCY visited with a girl friend that she hadn't seen for 17 years. Tuberculosis Still Menace As many new cases of tuberculosis have been reported In Utah so far in 1963 as were reported in all of 1962. Dr. John D. Newton. Ogden, president of the Utah Tuberculosis and Health Association, reports. THE INFORMATION on the new cases is given in the weekly disease reports of the Utah Department of Health. In all of 1962 there were 47 new cases of tuberculosis reto the health departported ment. For less than half of 1963 there have been 47 new cases reported. "This Increasing trend Is in line with increases noted during 1962 for the nation, Dr. Newton observed. "The number of new active cases of TB reported nationally to health authorities in 1962 was 54,652 compared with 53.726 in 1961." BECAUSE is tuberculosis transmitted from one person to another, public health authorities seek full reporting of TB, Dr. Newton said. We know, how ever, that not all cases of TB are reported. The knowledge of who has TB is important in preventing the spread of the disease to others, and in searching for others who unknowingly Grantsville.
