Besides members of the Senior Club who called during the day, a number of Junior Club members were in attendance as well as special guests, Mrs. Cecil Me Gregor, wife of the Commanding Officer of Tooele Ordnance Depot; Mrs. Jamex H. Dix, wife of the Executive Officer of the Tooele Ordnance Depot, and the club members were happily surprised bv a visit from Governor George D. Clyde, Howard Clegg, and Mr. Poland Robinson, an attorney and Mrs. Nona Shibley. The committee in charge of the membership tea were Mrs. Chileon Halladay, chairman, assisted by Mrs. Allen Lindberg, Mrs. HerMrs. Alex F. man Pedersen, Dunn, Mrs. Millie Bryan, Mrs. Clair Koford, Mrs. T. At Lakeview The Lakeview Ward Primary is planning a fall carnival and deer hunters ball for Friday, October II, at the Lakeview church. Proceeds from the event will go toward the purchase of a hanging microphone to be used by the children of the ward. The fun is scheduled to get underway at 6 p.rn. with the usual attractions of a carnival and will include game booths, fishing pond, parcel post boo:h, pound boot!), hot dugs, hamburgers and cold drinks. At 7 p.m. a talent program will be presented in the chapel and at 8 p.m. the deer hunters bail will get underway. Dancing will be on the black top (outside) and the North stake orchestra will provide the music. Tickets to the dance are now on sale and may from any of the Primary tyorkers. The breakfast was held at the Village Inn in Salt Lake City, 292!) South Stale St., at 6:T5 a.m. sponsored by the Sugar House BPW Club. Members from every BPW Club in the Central District attended and also State officers. The breakfast is a feature of National Business Woman's week being observed October 3 through October 8.
