Babson First Lutheran Church 13 ATTRACTIVE ENAMEL COLORS District Director Roland V. Wise, Revenue Service of taxpayers today reminded Utah that income tax filing time will soon be here and if they have not already done so, now is the time to start assembling necessary information needed in preparing their 1959 returns. Good financial records are essential in the preparation of an accurate Federal income tax return, Director Wise emphasized. He said complete records are particularly helpful to taxpayers who plan to itemize permissible deductions and who may have a basis upon which to obtain a refund. He added: "We have urged taxpayers in years past to be sure to keep comof plete and detailed accounts sums they have spent for contributions, medical expenses, interest payments, deductible taxes, and other items which our tax forms or instructions allow them to deduct. "Before the filing season arrives and taxpayers are not under pressure, is the best time in which to get such records together and start planning so they can secure the best tax results. Taxpayers have the right to claim every legitimate deduction and are urged to plan on preparing their 1959 returns from the standpoint of the flat 10 percent deduction or a carefully checked accounting, for which cancelled checks, receipts or other provable notations will be available. Mr. Wise said taxpayers who take these steps now can complete and mail their income tax returns as soon after the close of the year as they receive their W-- 2 withholding certificates. of the Internal , Handy Wonder SPRAY Income Tax Filing Time on Its Way 11, 1959 1 Pk 39c I ' |
