Sunday, Jan. - - oOo - -- oOo The average parent of children who attend the local high schools or junior high schools, are unaware of the fine facilities which are provided for the education of their children. For you who are not too old to remember, it was the envy of all other children, when a pupils parent visited his son or daughter, in the lower grades, but that atmosphere changed in junior and senior high school. It was the heighth of embarrassment to have your parent visit. It indicated many, many, imaginary things, so parents of these grades, were begged by their children, not to visit. The biggest industry, and the most vital one in our county, is our schools. It would be a delightful experience to the parents, and an appreciated one, by the school officials and the faculty, to have parents visit the schools and view the evolution of education. A visit, by your publisher, this week, to the Tooele Junior high school mechanical training department, with all its ultra modern facilities, contrasted in his mind, the drab and dull moments that were spent in the same rooms, studying the theory of that which is looked forward to eagerly by the present students who can actually build and produce the items. with their own hands under expert IS ' instructions. of the least embarrassing arrange, in Is the It parents, duty ment, to their families, to become acquainted with these modern opportunities being afforded to educate their children. Tooele Speak is Obscene literature the filthy pictures, books, etc., that is being sent out to the young people of our country. When you buy and read this kind of literature, in an indirect way, youre buying a path to an early grave. People who read and send this filth, are mentally ill, or they would put their minds to a better use. The people who send this literature out, dont care what will happen to you, because of reading it, all they want is your money. Jesus said: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good work and glorify your father which is in heaven. By reading this literature, you are surely not letting your light shine before men, so they may see your good works. You can just about imagine what the Lord thinks about the people who send out and read this literature. This scripture also says that you should do things that will glorify your father in heaven. It will be hard and will take the help of everyone to wipe this out, but it can be Mixed Nuts No. Crop Hosiery Finest Quality Truly Fine Expertly Fashioned From Guaranteed Dupont Nylon 60 Gauge, U.S. Fresh 1 No Peanuts Q 15 Denier Apr Seamless 2pr. 1.69 Fruit Cakes Mince Pies Mrs. Wright's Utah Ready For The Oven Nothing Tastes Better Than Hot Mince Pie For Holiday Giving '! By keeping Tooele clean, we mean to rid it of obscene literature, and pictures. This is not just a local affair, but it is a national affair as well.
