Juab took third place in region and will play in the first round of the 7-- 8 3 playoffs on Wednesday. The opponent and place are yet to determined. On last Monday, Juab trav- be eled to Altamont and defeated them 14-- Juab scored 7 runs in the 4th inning to blow the game wide open. The outstanding pitcher was Zach Diamond, who pitched 6 innings, had 10 strikeouts, gave up only 2 hits, and 2 earned runs. The outstanding hitters were Troy Mortensen with a double, single and 1 RBI; Brian Eyre with 2 singles and 2 RBIs; Aaron Sperry, Colby Park, and Bob Harward, each with 2 singles and a RBI; Jacob Bailey with a single and 2 RBIs; and Dan Thomas with a single and RBI. On last Thursday, Juab traveled to North Summit and defeated them . Juab jumped out to an early lead by scoring 5 runs in the first inning and held on for the victory. Juab ended the game with 14 hits. The outstanding hitters were Colby Park, who had an excellence with 3 14-9- homeruns and 5 RBIs; Craig Higginson with a grand slam homerun and 4 RBIs; Aaron Sperry with a double, single and 2 RBIs; Brian Eyre with 2 singles and a RBI; Atlee Osborne wjth a single and a RBI; and Justin Hooper with 2 singles. The outstanding pitcher was Justin Hooper, who pitched all 7 innings and had 10 strikeouts. The outstanding fielders were Dan Thomas, who made some excellent plays going in the hole at shortstop and Atlee Osborne, who ran down some tough fly balls. 0-- Juab was led Black and Rian Ragel also collected hits for the Wasps. On Friday, the Wasps traveled to Carbon to finish up the season. Juab jumped all over on offense by Mike May and Jordon Lynn with Juab has completed a great season with a record of .
