Katie Thalman outstanding 4-Beef Record Winner in State H Katie Thalman, daughter of Ron and LouAnn Thalman was recently announced as the outstanding 4-- H Beef Record Book Contest winner in the State. The honor was presented to her at the recently held State Contests in Lo4-- H gan. Katie has been a 4-- H mem- ber for eight years. Besides carrying a beef project, she has also been in junior lead- uciTirrrmn ership, clothing, public speaking, foods, home environment and horticulture. By placing first, Katie received a trip to the National Congress in Chicago, Illinois. Her book now goes on to compete nationally against 49 other state beef record book Overweight?
