Young, president of the water company, the group wants paragraph three of the agreement deleted. The paragraph says an accounting shall be made at the end of each year, and any overage shall be credited to the other party for use in the following years. The agreement was made at a June 14, 1983 meeting of the two groups, but Young says the person or persons who prepared the document for signatures changed the context of the meeting. Young says water from Clover Creek Springs was a gift from the Mona Irrigation Company jto the town of Mona to assure an adequate supply of culinary water. It was not the intent of the company to exchange this water or purchase it back when not needed.
