Show Wasps will play Union High Friday afternoon . v ' iv tu The Juab High School Wasps lost their final league football game of the season to the Emery Spartans Friday. The score was 20 for the Spartans and 16 for the Wasps. The loss gave the Wasps a record of five wins and three losses. d Emery scored first on a run by Joel Wilson. Wade Jewkes kicked the PAT. With one minute left in the half, the Spartans scored again on a pass from Darin Stilson to Dale Stilson. Jewkes PAT was good. Juab scored twice in the third run quarter, once on a by Todd Robison, and again on a d pass from Robison to Jeff Davidson. Both touchdowns were followed by passes from Robison to Robbie Taylor conversions. for Emerys clinching touchdown also occurred in the third d run by quarter on a Wilson. The PAT was no good. Top rushers for Juab were Todd Robison and Jim Phillips. The Wasps top receivers were Robbie Taylor, Jeff Davidson, and Paul Neilsen. High defensive scorers were Trevor Cowan, Dave Anderson, and Tracey Davidson. Juab will travel to Roosevelt Friday to play Union High School in a playoff game. The game will begin at 2 p.m. A bus chartered from Lewie Brothers Stages will take interested townspeople to the game. The program was held during fire prevention week and was sponsoreld locally by Yards Drive Inn. Students drew fire escape plana of their homes and then submitted the plans to the local fire department. Two winners were selected from each second grade class.
