I respectfully urge that city and county officials take proper steps to prevent such advertising and such an operation within the city or county. Will L. Hoyt Nephi Levan Demos receive GOP blessing Joseph Jensen and Ralph Wilson are running for positions on the Levan Town Board if you want to call it running. The duo, both Democrats, recently received the endorse- ment of the Levan Republican party. Jensen and Wilson are ..virtually , assured the, election, as they will be running unopposed. Partisan politics have caused hard feelings in this town in the past. Both of the Democrat candidates are acceptable to us, so why should we let party labels get in the way, said Levan Republican party chairman Gaylord Swim. Jensen is currently an incumbent on the town board, while Wilson is running for election for the first time in . Levan. Wilson, however, had experience in local government when he served on the Fountain Green town board before moving to Juab County, Swim says. Chapman Video District Board of Education. A request was made to the board by parents in the Mona area for assistance in covering the irrigation ditch which is located to the north of the school. The board did not feel they were able to assist with this project, but did discuss with the parents a variety of alternatives in the event the project was to proceed. The board expressed appreciation to the parents for their many projects at the school. Don Yates, director of transportation for the district, met with the board. After a review of the number of school buses and their conditions, the board directed the superintendent to make plans to sell one of the 48 passenger buses.
