Show jenkins award contract for fair building Y Jenkins Sales and Service of Nephi has been awarded a bid for the construction of a new building at the Juab County fairgrounds. Bids were opened at a recent meeting of the Juab County Commission. The bid price was $103,830. The high bid for the project was $120,856.91. The metal building will be 100 feet by 200 feet, and will have an 11 foot, minimum inside clearance. It will also have fiberglass insulation. It was agreed that Juab County crews will clear off the building site, rough grade the area, and haul backfill. Randy Freston, county engineer, will Weather also furnish all soil test information. The building will be fabricated by Sun Building Systems of Sunnyside, Wa., and Lundahl Construction . Company of Logan will serve as the contractor. Jenkins Sales and Service has secured the bond and will purchase all building materials. Paul McPherson of Jenkins Sales and Service says the building will have galvanized girders and will be designed by computer. Both factors should make the new fair building easier to construct and stronger r& THE- High School, are invited to attend. Family home evenings will be held by the group on the first and third Mondays of each month. The times and places of the meetings will vary, says Miss Osborne. Danny Newman, 20, of Nephi, was charged with leaving the scene of a reportable accident, and has entered a plea of guilty to Justice of the Peace Harlow Pexton. He was fined $305. Damage to the fire hydrant was estimated at $800. There were no estimates immediately available as to the cost of replacing the sign or the utility pole.
