The councilmen have been unsure whether its other features are equally attractive, however, and haVe been studying the proposal ever since. City manager McKnight told the council Tuesday that it was very difficult to get an unbiased opinion as to which type of pipe is best. The pipe has not been used in very many cities, and those who have begun using it have not had it installed long enough to make valid judgements. Debbie Phillips Troy Pexton VIENIKCIE Jkeatze 3 The students of the week Juab High School are Debbie Phillips and Troy Pexton. ' Miss Phillips is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Phillips of Nephi. She has been a member of the high school honor society for three years, and will represent JHS in the English category of the Sterling Scholars of Central Utah competition. She was a member of the pep club her freshman year, and for the past three years, has been a cheerleader. She is currently head cheerleader and is a member of the executive student council. Debbie was a member of the Future Homemakers of America her sophomore year and was chairman of the decorating committee for the junior prom and also junior prom queen. She has attended Girls State and Utah Business Week, and will attend the Utah Closeup program in March. She played the role of Susan in the musical "Calamity Jane, and has participated in commercial meets on both the type and shorthand teams. She is also first attendant in the Miss Juab County royalty. Debbie has been president of the Beehive and MIA Maid classes in her LDS ward. She likes crocheting, tole painting, singing, Pexton is a son of Jim and Beverlee Pexton of Nephi. He was first court to the JHS preferred man his junior year, and has been a member of the JHS football, basketball, and baseball teams. He has received his private pilots license, and is presently working on an instrument rating. Pexton is an Eagle Scout, and is president of the Priest quorum in the Nephi Fifth LDS Ward. He likes flying, hunting, skiing, and riding motorcycles. He plans to attend Dixie College. and horseback riding. She has received a deans . scholarship to Brigham Young m University.
