Show First Ward site is changed tAboJ looOCIaTIOh UT-i- 467 LAST LDS Wards plan 'fathers and sons' outings Friday and Saturday Many of the wards of the Nepm LDS Stake will hold Fathers and Sons outings this Friday and Saturday, May 14 and 15. The outings are held during the middle part of May to commemorate the period when Mor- mons believe the Aaronic Priesthood was restored to the earth. Nephi First Ward fathers and sons will hold their outing Friday night and Saturday at the Oasis Campground of the Little Sahara Recreation Area, north and west of Nephi. The outing had been planned at the stakes Old Pinery Recreation Area, but because of muddy roads, the site of the outing was changed. There will be no organized meals, but a ward campfire has been planned, as have Saturday morning activities. Those attending should bring their own firewood as well as extra firewood for the ward camp- Saturday, at about 7:30 a.m. Organized outdoor recreation activities will also be held Saturday. Sixth Ward fathers and sons will hold their outing Friday and Saturday at Mills, south and west of Levan. Campers should locate on the east side of the Mills bridge, and on the north side of the road. The bishopric will serve hamburgers Friday night, and a campfire program will follow. Saturday morning, the wards Varsity and Explorer Scouts will sail down the Sevier River. The Mona First Ward will camp at the Mona Reservoir dam Friday night. A program will begin at 8 p.m. Breakfast, to be served at 8 a.m. Saturday, will be furnished by the ward. Saturday SUT LvF CITY, morning activities are planned. The Mona Second Ward will camp Friday night at the old movie set on the Wells Ellertson property north of Mona reservoir. A supper will begin at about 7 p.m. The ward will furnish breakfast Saturday morning, beginning at about 8 a.m. Horseshoe pitching and other activities will be held following breakfast. Serving East Juab County The time and date of activities planned by the Nephi Second Ward were not available at press time. The Nephi Third Ward is planning an outing June the Nephi Fifth Ward will hold their outing June and the Levan Ward fathers and sons will celebrate May 21. in the Juab School District will go to the polls next Tuesday to decide whether or not to endorse a $4.5 million bond issue.
