Nonmembers are also invited to attend any of the churchs meetings, ward officers say. A cantata entitled The Bells of Christmas will be presented in the sacrament meeting of the Nephi First Ward at 1:30 p.m. It will be directed by Gloria Tunbridge and accompanied by E. Donnell Blackham. Soloists are Delora Nebeker, Diane Anderson, Russell Bender, Carol Broadhead, Laraine Belliston, and Renae Truscott. Readers are Claudia Ostler and Debbie Burton. A Christmas choral presentation entitled Child of Wonder will be presented at the Second Ward meeting. The program will feature such familiar Christmas carols as Far Far Away on The First Judeas Plains, Silent Night, and Noel, Christmas Bells. Other lesser known Christmas music will be presented. The Second Ward County commission discusses IPP at meeting Representatives of the Intermountain Power Project met with the Juab County Commission Monday to discuss the possible impact of growth on Nephi and Eureka. Superintendent M. Clark Newell and President Boyd Howarth of the Juab School District and Dr. Fred OPenshaw, superintendent of the Tintic School District met with the commission and IPP officials. Carl D. Haas, community planning representative for IPP, told the commission that according to a study made by IPP, the project would bring approximately 500 more residents to Juab County. The greatest population growth would occur in Millard County. Because of this study, IPP officers had had little contact with Juab County officials. Nephi garbagemen will take Christmas oft pickup Wednesday There will be no garbage pickup on Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25, city officials have announced. The area normally covered on Tuesday is from Main Street east to Second East.
