Show Dr. Wright releases final High School honor roll The fourth-quarte- r Juab High School honor roll has been announced by Dr. Kirk Wright, JHS principal. Twelfth grade very strong bond was established during those years, a bond that has endured and will continue to endure. When Barbara and I I . I was four years old and she was just six months younger, when we met. Her name was Barbara Jean, and she was my best friend. I dont remember how we first met, it was probably just by accident. She lived three houses down and across the street. Whatever that first encounter was, it worked, became teenagers, by Mariann Gibson we became al- most inseparable. She was my playmate, companion, confidant, bos-so- m buddy, trusted friend and, occasionally, my rival and bitter enemy. Like all best friends we were subject to a disagreement or two. Because of our birth-dateI was a year ahead in school, but our playtime at home was usually spent together. We had nearly everything in common and were sels, dom at a loss for something to do. One of our favorite afternoon entertainments was watching the "Mickey Mouse Club on TV followed by American Bandstand. We would sit with our mouse ear hats pretending we were Mouseketeers, then wed practice all the latest dance steps and make plans to go to Philadelphia, someday, to meet Fabian. As we got a little older, at least once a week, we took turns spending the night at each others houses. Wed play hide and seek in the dark, tell ghost stories and talk about boys till the wee hours of the night. Because of our close frindship our parents became friends as well. At first it was difficult for them as Barbaras parents,' being Spanish, used English as a second language, but they found other ways to overcome this problem, of understanding the words, by just giving of themselves as neighbors and friends. On many occasions our weekend drives in the country came to include Barbaras family, and soon family picnics and camping trips became a favorite experience when we did them together.
